This was one idea we had for our film poster. We decided to use a key image from the film as our leading image as it represents the idea of luck in the film. Furthermore we adopted the white background and red writing to represent the theme of romance, a technique used in such film posters as Bridget Jones. We hope that from the style of our poster and the images used the audience should be able to distinguish the theme of the film. Moreover we decided the have 'Lucky in Love' highlighted in red as it represents that although the boy is unlucky, he becomes lucky in love by the end of the film. We also included the name of the main actors, similar to that of many other film posters so that the audience know who the actors are. A billing block and BBFC certificate were also included to finalise the poster and make it look like an official film poster
Good post, but just remembered that I said I would do this part of the planning if you remember, as you were going to go on to do the magazine post :)
