Magazine Planning

Our magazine is going to be called ‘Film Focus’ and is going to be targeted at 17 to 20 year old females due to the themes within the film and the target that would be more likely to read an article on luck and love. The magazine will be a mainstream magazine and will include content that is of high popularity and demand, reviewing mainstream and the lattest released films. The magazine will be based and focus on particular films each week for example one week it will focus on horror and the next on romance. The theme of our magazine for our films article will be luck and because it’s a short film it will include reviews, interviews and will focus more on the nature of films than the actors because its mostly about independent films with not very well-known actors. The magazine will also have upcoming directors and producers making the audience more aware and educated on the future of the film industry and how it is changing.

There are a number of different magazine names that we decided not to use for out magazine and some of these are below…

We chose Film Focus because of the alliteration and therefore it being able to stick in peoples minds making them remember the magazine. Its also very different to the other ones as we found Film Focus more creative and different.
